How do you expect people to like you and want to be around you, if you can’t even stand being alone with yourself?
Do you even know who you truly are? Do you know what you like? Do you know your own talents? Do you know what makes you unique?
Nowadays we are bombarded with advertisements. We see all these lifestyles on social media. But do you actually like all that stuff? Or do you only like it because that is what everyone else does.
You are scared to be alone with yourself, so you distract yourself and you do what everyone else is doing so you can fit in.
I absolutely love music. I used to listen to music 24/7. But then I came to a realization. I wasn’t just listening to the music because I enjoyed it; I did it to escape my mind. I did it to escape all the thoughts in the back of my head.
It’s the same with watching YouTube videos and scrolling on social media and bingeing Netflix.
It is all a distraction.
We all know there is something we should be doing. We all have that little voice in our head.
But we are scared to face it. We are scared of change. We like to be comfortable and safe.
Now, I only listen to music once I have everything in my head sorted out. Let me tell you, Music sounds sooooo much better when you have a clear head.
To take control of your life you need to face yourself. You are your biggest enemy.
You are not in competition with others. You are in competition with yourself. You are competing against your ego, your procrastination, and your laziness.
You should never try to be better than someone else.
You should always strive to be better than who you were yesterday.
Running away from all your problems will never solve anything. They will always be there, and they will just keep building up and up until you can’t handle it any longer.
So, the best thing to do is to face everything.
Sit in silence with no distractions and let all your problems arise. It may be uncomfortable at first but just let it happen.
Just breathe and observe.
It will all be over before you know it. You will feel so much lighter.
The past does not exist. It only exists in your head.
There is no point in worrying over things you can’t control.
What happened, happened. It’s gone. Nothing you can do about it.

Face all of your demons and conquer them. Take control of your life. Start living for yourself. Do what makes you happy.
To find what truly makes you happy you need to clear your head. Get all of those worries and negative thoughts out of there. Face them head on and take control of your life.
Start doing things because you truly enjoy them. Be fully present and cherish every moment. Don’t do things just to escape.
People take life way too seriously nowadays. People are living in fear.
We are here to have fun and experience this beautiful life and grow.
Stop worrying about stuff you cannot control. Worry about yourself. Always strive to be better than who you were yesterday.
Don’t do things because you feel obligated. Do them to enjoy them and because You want to do them.
Start taking care of yourself.
Be proud of how far you have came.
Stop focusing on what you don’t have and focus on what you do have. Be grateful for all of the amazing things in your life.
